Murals
I had always wanted the opportunity to paint a mural, and two of my friends reached out to me in a very short amount of time, each requesting one.
The first mural I painted was for the Brazilian Jiu Jitsu gym my friend had just opened, called BJJ Squared. The second mural was for my friend who was starting a Youth Group at my church.
The first mural was a painting of the gym mascot, Artie the Artichoke. Below are the process photos.
The second mural I painted was for the Youth Group room that my friend put together. She wanted something bold and imposing, and I was happy to deliver. I based it off Velazquez's Crucified Christ, which I had done a smaller painted version of not long before.
